Scott J Has offered to be escrow.
TL;DR: With this trade you can get the best rate online with no risk, using a debit card.
We all know about the Bitcoin Pizza Guy.... Well, I have a unique proposition to make. I am looking to buy a new Macbook with IOTA. The model is £2,196.00 on Apple with Student Pricing (Available to all students and parents of students) .
(Touch Bar and Touch ID, 2.8GHz Processor, 256GB Storage, Upgrade RP560 4GB, = £2,196.00)
As of today that is $2837.74
I am willing to trade at well above current market rate!
Market Rate =1.23 MIOTA / $ at time of Posting. i.e. $0.81/MIOTA
I will trade at 1.42 MIOTA /$ i.e. $0.7/MIOTA
In conclusion I will pay 4.08 Gi for a £2196 Apple Laptop, delivered to an Address in the UK.
Who want's to be the guy who sold to IOTA Mac Guy
This offer can be withdrawn at any time. Once accepted however, it will be adhered to by use of an escrow. Failure to send IOTA Payment is thus, not possible. The reasoning (for me to pull the offer at any time) before an agreement is made is because I think at the moment it is a good compromise between convenience (for me avoiding having to send to an exchange, then wire tranfer out to GBP and incur fees etc) and cost (~$400 lost opportunity cost). If the IOTA price goes UP it will become higher opportunity cost and at some point (Say $600) I'd feel like i had a lousy deal.
Currently in discussion with someone who seems very interested. Will Update. thanks for your interest
