How to claim my Iotas

Hello,

I got from the "Show Yourself Giveaway" 1GI Iota and I'm trying to claim them on the "new tangle".
In the current Version there is no claim Button so I can't claim them.
Then I downloaded the 2.1.0 Version and tried to claim. The programm just response with "invalid characters".
My old seed contains different numbers not only 9. Is that a problem? I also tried to replace all other numbers with 9 but this didn't work either. I contacted 3 days ago David in Slack but didn't get any response until now.
Can someone help me?

Many people like you (and me) still have old seeds they need to reclaim. The procedure is to send an email to david@iota.org with the following information:
1) Your old seed
2) Your new receiving address (created from a new seed on the latest client 2.3) - do NOT send your new seed!
3) If you whish, % donation to the Foundation
David will process claim requests manually when he finds the time. We are a bunch of people on the waiting list. All claims will have to be processed before the deadline of July 11th.
Extra info:
A new seed on client 2.3 has 81 characters (3x3x3x3), which have to be capital letters or number 9 (that is 27 options, or 3x3x3). There is no random seed generator in the client anymore, so you will have to make up your seed manually or generate one with a (off-line) random number generator. The following CLI commands will also produce a correct random seed.
Windows PowerShell:

Linux/Unix:

You can freely edit a random seed before entering it in the iota client, like so:

Never communicate your seed to anybody except if you want to give them full control over your funds!
Keep a paper copy of the seed and/or enter it in a password manager so that you can copy-paste it safely later on.

I am still waiting on my claim to be handled and could not find anyone who had a successful claim so far...

Ok, I got my claim in full. I'm pretty confident that everyone who has a legitimate claim will in fact receive theirs. Just an observation, I would try to be as positive and an asset as possible to the team when asking for the claims - I'd refrain from very aggressive or demanding language, the team was/is indeed super busy. For one thing, I realize these guys really do work 20 hours a day. Anyway, best of luck to everyone!

The deadline was indeed July 11th Phi, David could do you a favor though, but you will have to check this ourt with him...

As far as I know, no further manual claims have been processed recently (mine is still pending).

David now requires full ID data (name, surname, address) for KYC, because there have been some legal threats towards the Iota Foundation. Full story here:

I've sent ID scaned and all the asked data to david@iota.org on aug/11/2017 but no answer from him, nor Iotas on light wallet or iota explorer web.

Does any body in the same situation as me, got some kind of feedback from David or any member of the team?. I've also write on slack, but everybody ignores me...

We are speaking about 5 Giotas, so is an important amount for me. I've offered 1% as donation to David, but still wating any kind of response...

• Create a NEW ADDRESS with the latest wallet (2.5.1) - that is, a string of 90 characters (A-Z,9)
• Send an email to come-from-beyond@mail.ru with:
  ¤ Ttile: MANUAL-CLAIM
  ¤ Body: your NEW ADDRESS (90 characters), NOTHING ELSE
