I am Richard and I am unusually the "RLH" of any cryptocurrency community. I've always been intrigued by the philosophy, math and science of cryptocurrency. Since my first observations of Bitcoin, I was keenly aware that it was both revolutionary but also too infantile to be of any long-term, practical use.
At heart, I am an advocate of innovation that helps to change peoples lives for the betterment of themselves and society. I think IOTA (of multiple projects) is a good step in that direction, especially in the newly emerging IoT space.
Currently I have a lot of personal (read: it pays the bills) work, but in my down time I'm working on translating IOTA into a .Net/C# variation. Originally I called it a C# client but now that I've spent time around the IOTA community and have learned about the reference client's internals, I think my application is better suited as a business-layer, IOTA solution. I'll discuss more of that, though, when I finally create a project page for the client.
