please be patience when learning with new tech/software, at times devs are just busy , other times they may have missed you. and sometimes software is not working as everyone liked.
im sure there are plenty of people ready to help, if you ask nicely.
we just had the "coordinator" restarted, and even the iota explorer website is not working properly.
but good news is your iota should be safe in this address as long as you have got the right seed to access it. it does not matter if the client shows 0, as long as you can see this address in your client receive/history area you will be fine.
mostly the problem just need to work on sync issue.
