Thank you very much for your reply.
I understand what you are saying about Ethereum and I've read up a bit on IOTA but have more to do on this. I'm not a dev but have been interested in cryptocurrency for a few years now.
My suggestion for the big break of IOTA onto the wold stage would be to come out with a simple, user friendly app (maybe it already exists?) for the "regular" consumer that seamlessly integrates IOTA with Ethereum and for the consumer would be conceived as "one thing." It still could have the words Ethereum and IOTA maybe as a subtitle of the app or something but for the computer it would just be a simple, ONE- app to take care of payments of any kind with maximum simplicity and user friendliness. But it would have advance features which help consumer to set the parameters for Ethereum contracts if the transaction requires it.
I believe this could be the app which has been long talked about bringing about universal adoption.
I think, ideally, it would be presented to the public as "Ethereum just was made universally usable with the addition of a new breakthrough, i.e. IOTA" -- something like this but this would require more thought. The idea of this however is to make use of the fact that Ethereum is much more known at this point than IOTA and so use Ethereum as a spring board to get onto the world stage and make the big break. Of course the idea is to do all this with the cooperation and agreement of the Ethereum Foundation and in such a way that it will benefit both, greatly, Ethereum and IOTA.
These are my initial thoughts. Thank you for getting in touch with me.
Sincerely, Beat Schumacher
