If I'm not overestimating IOTA's potential capabilities, I would like to create a second layer protocol that tracks relevant app data in the Tangle. The Tangle would 1) serve as the magnet links to app data stored in IPFS/SIA/LBRY or other distributed hosting, unless one surges natively to iota; and 2) provide fee less instant transactions of the app.
I don't know how feasible it is to store all the data in the Tangle itself via MAM, enabling private rooms for discussion.
The difference with steemit is that posts, comments, replies, would be amorphously recorded, to be read by each user's app uniquely by its settings and account details/permissions.
The feelers instant transaction, and future smart contracting would enable an economy of thought- users paying others to read, contemplate, and debate on issues. The key innovation is a highly nuanced system of tags and metadata that facilitate competition and creativity all while vying for relevance as the system populates.
The meta coin, who's protocol of issuance/burning/access-enabling would use the Tangle for data integrity.
Think decentralized echo chamber but with the option to challenge yourself and grow by participating in an endless debate which spawns debate about debate tactics or flaws in reasoning.
It's liberating online discourse from linear threads, clumsy forums, or monolithic chatrooms.
Anybody interested in collaborating please reach out. Even if to poke holes, or point out limitations and possible obstacles. I do think Iota is my best bet as for the underlying Crypto economic dlt for this.
The latest codename I've given it is me[meta]
Memeta as in memetics
A meta-subjective "me"
Ideally it would be anonymous or non-intelligible pseudonymous (no human readable identity)
